The mission of Bucknall Essential Skills is to provide a positive avenue for young English talent in reaching their potential. Bucknall Essential Skills is a basketball programme for the development of children from 13-20 years as well as coaches. This programme will be staffed by England International players and established coaches across Europe and the USA . Due to the overwhelming desire and vast number of enquiries from young people about reaching the "next level" we have created this programme.

Founder and organizer, Steven Bucknall, has developed a programme designed to give kids and coaches of all ages and skill levels based on his extensive basketball experience. He believes that his programme is the path to take in developing a disciplined, well-organized, training philosophy to work on fundamentals of the game, which is essential ingredient to playing at the highest level.

What separates BES from other programmes is our staff, their real life experiences in the sport and their commitment to player development .Our programme will place heavy emphasis on both fundamental skills and character development. BES sessions will be directed by some of the best English players and coaches of all time.

As a team, we have all the necessary tools to teach and nuture talent because we can relate all aspects and levels of the game to our participants.

Our programme will be demanding, a reflection of the passion of our staff. Our staff members have been a success in the English system, reaching the highest level through hard work and determination.
